I do not see the font I wish to use in LABEL MATRIX's font list. How can I add a font? |

TEKLYNX Label Design Software does not add any fonts when it installs.
When Selecting a TEKLYNX Printer Driver, you will see a list of the fonts that came with each specific make and model of printer. These fonts are not installed on the PC but the drivers are specially designed to pass the data string with the command to use the font present internally on the printer while a print job is executed.
TEKLYNX Label Design packages do give you the ability to also use True Type Fonts. These fonts can be used and are accessed from the Operating System.
NOTE: A True Type font will be sent to the printer as graphic information from the software, which increases the amount of information being passed from the PC to the Printer. Increases in the amount of information in turn decrease print speed and print quality.
To add a resident font to your printer please contact the printer manufacturer.
To add a new True Type Font to your computer:- From the 'Control Panel' open the 'Fonts' folder.
- On the File menu, click 'Install New Font...
- Browse to the folder that contains the fonts you wish to add.
- To add more than one font, press and hold down the CTRL key, click the fonts you want to add, then click OK.
