Can I use CODESOFT 7 or higher to create an ISO 8601 date stamp? |
 |
| |
CODESOFT 7 and higher have the ability to create ISO 8601 date stamps. To create an ISO 8601 date stamp, do the following:- Open CODESOFT. In the document browser, right-click on the Date option and select Add to create a new date variable.
- Right-click on the new date variable and select Variable Properties.
- The Date variable Properties dialog box will open. Scroll to the bottom of the list and select the <Customized> option. Two boxes will appear in the bottom of the window. Click the down arrow in the box on the right and scroll down to the WW option.
- When you are finished with the date variable configuration, the dialog box will look like the one shown below. Click OK to exit the Date Variable Properties dialog box.
- To add the ISO date to your label, drag the date variable you created from the document browser to the label. When you release the mouse button, a menu will appear, offering you the option to drop the variable as a Text, Barcode or Image object. In this example, we will use the Text option.
- The ISO 8601 date will appear on your label. Congratulations! You have created an ISO 8601 Date stamp using CODESOFT.
