How do I use TextArt in CODESOFT 8 to bend text at an angle?
You can use the TextArt feature in CODESOFT 8 to format text objects by bending text at angles, changing colors and adding background styles.

This FAQ will demonstrate the use of TextArt to bend text at a specified angle to form an arc.
  1. Begin by clicking the Extended objects button and selecting the TextArt option.

  2. Click on your label to drop the TextArt object. A placeholder image will appear.

  3. Double-click the placeholder image to open the TextArt properties dialog box. On the Text settings tab you can specify the text string you wish to use. For this example, we use the string "Bend text in an arc".

  4. Select the Bend text to shape option and configure the Start angle and Sweep angle values for the text. The arc preview on the right will update to represent the angle values you enter. Note that you can also link the text string to a data source as well as configure fill color, outline and shadow parameters in this dialog box.

  5. Select the Shape settings tab to configure Shape, background color and border settings for the TextArt object. When you are finished, click OK to exit the TextArt properties dialog box.

  6. You will see your TextArt object on your label configured according to the paramenters you specified.
