When I try to open my labels in CODESOFT I get a 702-700 or 704-700 error. What does this mean? |

The error message (which also sometimes appears as a 702-700 error) is the result of opening a label file that was created in a version of CODESOFT that is newer than the version currently installed on your computer.
The general rule of file compatibility is that you can move forward within versions but not backwards.
It is recommended that you determine which of your machines has the newest version of CODESOFT and upgrade all other CODESOFT installations to match your most recent version.
How can I determine which version of CODESOFT I have on my PC?
